Here are examples of current and past projects that we have the skill to execute here at Decatur Garage.  These vehicles are all unique and require vast knowledge to service, repair, or restore.
We pride ourselves in the ability to offer these services for rare European automobiles.

This current project is for a great customer who is equally as passionate about Porsche racing cars as we are. Since John is and has been dedicated to sports car racing for the last 30 years.
He is just the guy to build the engine and transmission for such a car.  Here are a few pictures of the progress. The case spent the last 4 months waiting in line at a very special machine shop. It was finally returned ready to be built and tested. Starting with a strong solid case is key for an older 911.

The newly machined 911 2litre case. Once this motor goes together and installed it will be a sound car and should be very fun to drive around the track. The car arrives next week and should be ready for the motor and transmission install.
This shows the later model oil pump with larger oil scavenge. The oil pump is driven by a gear on the crank which will engage the gear on the oil pump shaft. The cams will be driven by the chains.

Here we show some of the case machine work to allow the larger pump and oil scavenge.

At Road Atlanta talking over the cars performance and improvements needed.

 Porsche BECK 904
This car arrived and is now getting some updated hardware, new AeroQuip fuel lines.
Along with a few small redesigns.
It is one very beautiful car.
